Job Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, oversee, manage, and assess the activities of the personnel or human resources departments.
- Plan needs for human resources in collaboration with other department managers.
- Coordinate hiring and training initiatives both within and externally.
- Create and execute labor relations guidelines and protocols and engage in collective bargaining negotiations.
- Oversee language instruction, employee development, and health and safety initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow department managers regarding the administration and interpretation of personnel policies and initiatives.
- Oversee the rating and classification of professions.
- Arrange and carry out informational meetings for employees regarding employment policies, benefits, and pay. Additionally, take an active role in a number of joint committees.
- Oversee the company's quality control program.
- Make sure laws like the Pay Equity Act are followed.
Education & Experience Requirement:
- Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Completion of bachelor’s degree or professional development program in the field it required.
- 1year or more experience in the field is required.
