Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Food truck that parks at various locations and also offers catering that comes to the client’s location of choice.

Work Location(s): Various locations in the Greater Vancouver Area

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time – 40 hr/weekly with potential of overtime

Salary:  $16.75 to $18.75 hourly, depending on experience

Education: Not required

Experience:  Experience an asset

Language: English

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Main duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Recruit and hire staff
• Manage kitchen operations
