Education: College, certification or diploma from a program 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Work Experince: 7 months to less than 1 year
Resposibilities or Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duites, provide companionship to the elder being cared for, shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals, cook, other suggested home care instructions and provided information about techniques
Credentials: Certificates, licenses, membership and courses. Personal support worker certificate
Experience and Specialization: Elderly or senior care
Additional Information: Criminal and record check, reference required, physical capabilities includes bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking and handling heavy loads of up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Term of Contract: Full time , 2 years
Salary: $18 per hour/ 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Overtime pay: $27 per hour after 35 hours work in a week
Paid vacation: 10 days per year
Paid sick leave: 6 days per year
