Position Description 

Position: Plumber Helper

Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

No of positions: 3

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland and Greater Vancouver areas in BC.

Salary and Benefits 

Salary: $27.50 per hour

A comprehensive set of duties include 

• Assist plumbers with various plumbing tasks, such as repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Measure, cut, and install pipes and fittings according to specified requirements.
• Transport the necessary materials, tools, and equipment to the job site.
• Ensure the work area is clean and surfaces are prepared after each job is completed.
• Ensure that all safety and health protocols are followed and maintain a secure work environment.
• Remove and replace damaged pipes as needed.
• Prepare trenches for new plumbing installations.
• Assist with the diagnosis and repair of plumbing problems.
• Repair and install plumbing systems in accordance with blueprints and building codes.
• Manage tool and equipment inventory, ensuring all are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with the team on the planning and execution of projects.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. Participate in regular training sessions to update your skills and knowledge.
• Perform other job site activities as directed by the plumber.

• High School Diploma or similar.
• Good physical health for heavy lifting and working in tight spaces.
• Basic math skills for measuring and cutting pipes.
• Strong communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
• Attention to detail to get the job done right.
• Knowledge of safety rules and commitment to following them.
• Dependability, punctuality, and eagerness to learn.
