Business Profile: Annie’s Place is a mobile healthcare/medical care provider who comes to clients’ family/individual homes or group care homes to assist with medical treatments, personal care (hygiene, prescribed exercises, etc.) and daily domestic duties. We also offer transport services for clients as well as grocery shopping on their behalf and everything in between that is required by each individual or group care home.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day, Evening

Work Site Environment: Group care/home care of various people who are elderly and/or who are undergoing medical challenges or dealing with medical conditions. Note: this position is auxiliary support staff to our healthcare aides and, therefore, only requires personal home support work. Medical care of our clients is solely the responsibility of our trained and certified healthcare aides.

Salary: $21.00 to $23.00/hr depending on experience, 40 to 50 hours per week

Job Duties:

-       Act as auxiliary support staff by helping our healthcare aides with home support work, including domestic duties, wherever needed

-       Provide care and companionship for individuals and families and/or group home residents during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption

-       Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing

-       Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients

-       Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds

Transportation/Travel Information: For locations that are not transit-accessible or in case of urgent or last-minute care requirement, Uber rides will be paid for by the company

Work Location Information: Various locations in the Greater Vancouver Area
