Work Location: Various work locations across Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland

Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner (NOC 65310)

Terms of Employment: 30-40 hour per week, Full-time / Permanent

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $19.00 - 21.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

No of Positions: 3

Job Duties:

• Sweep, mop, wash, wax, re-seal, refurbish and polish floors.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies.
• Pick up debris, empty garbage bin, sort trash and rubble.
• Clean, disinfect and polish various rooms in post-construction sites, residential and/or commercial buildings.
• Move items such as furniture and other equipment.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, to keep the cleanliness.
• Report and store lost and found items.
• Perform other duties as needed, as per the job requirement.

• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal education is required.

Experience: There is no formal experience required, successful candidates will be trained.

***Experience in cleaning or related field would be considered an asset.

Language: No formal language requirement.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to work in dust, confined spaces, as well as high height levels.
  • Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to handle heavy workloads, in which can be physically demanding.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 20-30 lbs.
