Atlantic Chican Seafood is looking for an Administrative Officer to join our team.

Salary: $23.75/hour

Terms of employment: Permanent position

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation.

Work Hours: 35 hours per week

Work Location: 55 Orion Wharf Road, Clarks Harbour, NS, B0W 1P0

Job Duties:

• Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
• Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Carry out administrative activities of establishment
• Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
• Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
• Perform data entry
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 2-3 years experience

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office

Personal suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Ability to multitask, Time management, Adaptability, Integrity
