Permanent Position: Mechanic Helper (NOC 75119)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Main Location:  Richmond, BC

Wage rate: $23.00 per hour (40 hours per week)

Education:  No Education Required

Experience: No experience.

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Assists mechanics in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Carry tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas.
• Assist in keeping work area clean.
• Oil and grease machines.
• Clean machine with steam Jenny, solvent, and wiping rags to prepare for repairs.
• Perform other duties assigned by the mechanics and supervisor.
• Follow safety regulations at workplace.

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.

Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants.
