Nature of position:      Permanent, full-time (50 hours per week)

Wage:                         $26.00 per hour, with an overtime rate of $(26.00 x 1.5)  per hour above                                       40 hours per week

Vacation:                     14 days of paid vacation

Language required:     English, spoken and written

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position: 

• Maintain facilities and infrastructure daily, including riding arena and manure bin.
• Conduct general "fix-it" maintenance tasks related to facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with electricians and carry out tasks including water delivery, manure removal, shavings deliveries
• Remove manure from paths, arenas and paddocks
• Undertake heavy lifting responsibilities, specifically related to jumps and other equipment.
• Transport horses and equipment to local shows.
• Run errands as required

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience: 

• Experience with handling horses is required 
• Experience driving a tractor
• Ability to do some heavy lifting
