NOC: 62020 (Food Service Supervisor)
Terms of Employment: Permanent Position (Full time)
Location of Work: 156, Main Street, Inglis, Manitoba R0J 0X0
Wage: $15.30- 17.30 per hour
Language Requirements: English
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage entire staff and cooks, including, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Ensure all staff are properly trained and are following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards and solid product knowledge, and providing prompt service
- Ensure all operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain adequate kitchen appliances
- Ensure that recipes and food preparation instructions are followed correctly
- Monitors daily use of food, labour and supplies, food quality and presentation
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess pleasant personality and polite nature
- 1-2 years of Restaurant or cafe management experience
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability of solving problems, making decisions and writing & speaking effectively
