Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment: Hot, Tree and orchard fruit, Dusty
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, Willing to relocate, Rural area
Responsibilities:
Tasks:
- Hire, supervise and schedule staff
- Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns
- Plan and estimate labour and materials
- Maintain work records and logs
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Resolve work related problems
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Supervision: 3-4 people
Experience and specialization
Type of product: Native plants, Perennials, Deciduous trees, Coniferous trees
Equipment and machinery experience: Feeding and watering system, Loader, Fertilizer applicator, Sprayer or duster
Area of specialization: Interior landscaping, Lawn care, Design, Nursery or greenhouse
