Job Description
Frame Game Construction is a general construction and framing company based at 7244 140 street Surrey, BC V3W 5J7. We are urgently looking for 02 Construction Helpers to add into our team.
Job Duties
• Assist trades men in constructing residential homes and installing siding to the exterior walls
• Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tradesman and, provide assistance in other activities
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Pick tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site
• Deliver construction materials, tools, nails, glue and other material on work site
• Assist trades men while they attach house wrap or other material to building surface using staples, nails or adhesives
• Operate various construction tools
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Assist team in completing the rough stages of the siding process
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed by tradesman
Skills Requirements
• No formal education requirements. Completion of secondary school will be an asset.
• Some work experience as a construction labourer would be an asset, On the job training will be provided.
• Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
• Working setting: The candidate should be available to work part-time or full-time.
• Requires lifting, pulling and carrying of equipment and other objects
• Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors and all-weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of English is required to communicate at workplace.
Benefits
As per BC Employment Standards Act, 4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation or 10 days of paid vacation with no vacation on each pay period. 5 days of paid sick leave. Transportation to and from the job location is provided at free of cost in company vehicle.
