Job description:
Archer Dining Limited is seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, enthusiastic has exceptional customer service skills to join our team as soon as possible. Archer is a Michelin Star Award winning restaurant that serves Canadian cuisine that highlights the delicious ingredients of the of the Pacific Northwest.
Position: Food Service Supervisor
Location: 1152 Alberni St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1A5
Hourly Rate: $20.00
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Vacation Pay 4%
Overtime: As per BC labour laws.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock of supplies and ingredients
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, including food preparation and seating areas
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain records of sales, inventory, and employee schedules
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food service staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
- Train and mentor new hires, providing guidance on customer service, food preparation, and safety protocols
