Salary:                                             $19.00/hr

Overtime:                                       $28.50/hr (As per BC Standards – for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/week)

Observed Holidays:                      As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 holidays/yr

Job Duties:

• Greet guests, politely ask them to wait (giving them an estimate of how long)
• Seat guests and provide them with appropriate menus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and be prepared to answer questions
• Take, verify, and relay food and beverage orders as appropriate
• Promptly deliver food and beverage items as they are ready
• Ensure guest is satisfied with food and/or beverage items that were delivered
• Present bill to customer and be prepared to answer questions about it
• Process payment by whatever means are applicable (debit, credit, cash)
• Inspect and maintain dining room for neatness and cleanliness
