Job Title: Harvest Worker
Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $15.42 – $18.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
No of Positions: 3
Job Duties:
- Perform tasks such as hand harvesting, packaging, weighing, and storing bean sprouts.
- Plant and process seeds (transfer, sanitize, sow), monitor temperatures, water, and tend to bean sprout plants.
- Loading/ unloading produce and supplies for transport and organizing products inside cooler rooms.
- Sanitizing all equipment and working areas; and always maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Spray or apply nutrients to bean sprouts plants and monitor hydroponic water temperature.
- Report any signs of insect or disease damage in bean sprouts.
- Assist in logic controls to the start seed germination.
- Other general farm duties as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: No formal experience required; successful candidates will be trained in job duties.
Language: No formal language requirement.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in various environments: cold, damp, dust.
- Ability to handle heavy workloads, which can be physically demanding.
- Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to bend, couch, stand and kneel for long extended periods.
