Job description:

1234 Construction Ltd. located in Surrey; BC is currently hiring 4 full-time Plasterers to work with our growing team. The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to learn.

Position Details:

Position: Plasterer

Number of positions: 4

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $27.50 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible.

Work locations(s): Various construction sites in Surrey (BC) and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties:

• Prepare walls and ceilings for plaster by cleaning, taping, fixing any holes or cracks 
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency that is perfect for the application. 
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster using trowels floats and brushes etc. 
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs if required.
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim. 
• Spray finish over walls and ceilings. 

Job requirements

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of apprenticeship program OR minimum 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
