EKS CPA INC., a leading accounting firm in Tax advisory and Financial Planning, is currently looking for an experienced, reliable and organized candidate to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis and fulfill the role of Bookkeeper.

Job Title: Bookkeeper (NOC: 12200)

Wage Rate: $ 27.50 per hour, for 40 hours per week

Over Time Wage: $ 41.25 per hour after 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% vacation Pay

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements:
• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years previous relevant experience is required

Job Duties:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
