Terms of Employment:
Contract/ Full-time 40 hours/week paid at $20.00/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sales
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Grind meats
- Prepare special orders
- Shape, lace and tie roast, other meats, poultry and seafood
- Able to use band saw, manual cutting utensils and power grinder
Additonal Personal Requisite:
- Client Focus and accurate of meat cuts
- Dependable and reliable
- Efficient oral and written communication
- Flexible and team player
- Organized and will initiate actions
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment and work on tight schedules
- Standing for extended perios and provided attention to details
- Combination of Bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, hand eye co-ordination
- Physically demanding and attention to details
Job requirements:
- At least high school graduate or it's equivalent foreign graduates
- Can speak and write in English
- Criminal Record Check (Proof)
