Job description:
Location: Hamilton, ON L8W 3P7/ Remote work available
Salary: $52.00 per hour for 30 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sets to provide data-driven solutions for business decisions
- Using predictive modeling to optimize revenue growth, marketing campaigns, and customer experiences
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
- Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, management or relevant field; is preferred
- Minimum experience of 2-3 years is preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
- Proficiency in programming languages and data manipulation tools
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Working experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
