Job Duties:
- Prepare meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Ensure that all the vegetables and meats are fresh.
- Remove trash and clean and replace garbage bags.
- Store food supplies in refrigerators and other areas.
- Prepare the trays of final dishes ordered by the customers.
- Check the inventory levels and report to the Kitchen Manager.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
- Follow food safety standards.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience is an asset, on the job training will be provided.
