Job Duties:
- Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies
- Install refrigeration systems
- Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems
- Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
- Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks
- Measure and lay out reference points for installation
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
- Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
- Handle, recover and store refrigerants
- Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
- May repair and maintenance of container facilities, inspecting machinery and equipment as well as detect and investigate if there are irregularities and/or malfunctions.
- There are possibilities that you will work on different sites, for example on static train or boat to analyze the equipment (during work hours only).
Who You Are
- Professional Diploma (DEP) or a journeyman refrigeration specialist certificate is Preferred.
- You have 3-5 Years’ experience on working on Transportation reefer refrigeration systems.
- You are passionate about the field of refrigeration; you are a persevering worker who seeks to solve problems
- You are punctual and like to work in collaboration with your colleagues.
- You have the skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
- you are disciplined and you like a job well done.
Education and Experience
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities
- 3-5 Years’ experience on working on Transportation reefer refrigeration systems
