Position: Bookkeeper (NOC: 12200)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Wages and benefits: $34.62 per hour, at least 40 hours of work per week. Overtime ($51.93 per hour) paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.

Eligibility:
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Language: English


Job Duties:
•Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
•Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
•Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
•Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
•Post journal entries
•Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
•Prepare tax returns
•Reconcile accounts

Computer and technology knowledge
Accounting software
