Wage: $34.75 per hour
Vacation: 4% in lieu of paid vacation

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
- Supervise and care for infants and children in the employer’s residence.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Prepare formulas and change diapers for infants.
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children.
- Perform other housekeeping duties related to children.
- Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Completion of a training program in childcare or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience (full-time or equivalent) as a caregiver in a private household.
- Experience working as a caregiver in a household with at least one child under five years old.
- Non-caregiving experience with children in an educational and/or clinic environment is preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Food safety certification is preferred.
- Flexibility and willingness to work longer hours at the discretion of the employer.
