Job Responsibilities:
- Assign and schedule drivers for specific routes based on load requirements, delivery deadlines, and truck availability.
- Monitor driver behavior and performance to ensure safe driving practices and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Oversee daily logistics and dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Schedule and track routine vehicle maintenance and repairs to keep the fleet in safe and optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and driver logs for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure all drivers comply with local, state, and federal transportation laws as well as company safety policies.
- Train new drivers on company procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use, and provide ongoing supervision to all driving staff.
- Respond to customer complaints or delivery issues promptly and professionally to maintain service quality.
- Analyze fuel usage, vehicle efficiency, and route planning to reduce operational costs and increase productivity.
- Prepare and submit regular performance and operations reports to management for review and planning.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A Secondary school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement for this job.
- 2-3 years of experience as driver or operator of motor transport.
- Appropriate certificates, memberships, or licenses preferably be required.
- Background checks to ensure that one has no disqualifying criminal history.
- A good understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards is crucial
- Clear and effective communication, particularly in English, is essential for interacting with dispatchers, clients, and fellow drivers, as well as for understanding road signs and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and manage teams to ensure smooth operations and high performance.

Salary: $39.00 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
