Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store in Canada. The ideal candidate will lead a team, drive sales performance, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and evaluate daily store operations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving complaints promptly.
- Manage inventory levels and order merchandise as required.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, KPIs, and financial reports.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
- Handle budgeting, cost control, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma is required; post-secondary education in business or retail management is an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in inventory control, POS systems, and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Assets:
- Experience in retail environments such as fashion, grocery, electronics, or convenience stores.
- Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and workplace health & safety standards
