Languages: English
Education:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Specific Skills:
- Source and purchase a variety of vehicles, automotive equipment, and related services for both rental and sales operations.
- Assess business needs and operational requirements to define specifications for vehicles, parts, and other supplies.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.
- Maintain ongoing communication with vendors to discuss product options, service quality, and future orders.
- Evaluate and compare supplier quotations to ensure the best combination of price, quality, and delivery.
- Draft and finalize contract terms and conditions that align with company policies and objectives.
- Set and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of vehicles, equipment, and materials.
- Track deliveries and follow up with suppliers to maintain accurate timelines and minimize delays.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to address and resolve any issues related to procurement, deliveries, or quality discrepancies.
