The main responsibilities of a Food Counter Attendant as per below:
Take customers’ orders and serve them at counters or buffet tables
Prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, milkshakes, and ice cream dishes using equipment like deep fryers, grills, ovens, and dispensers
Prepare hot beverages such as coffee and specialty teas
Portion, assemble, wrap, and package food for dine-in or take-out service
Wash, peel, slice, and trim vegetables, fruits, and other foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
Clean and sanitize work tables, cupboards, appliances, and garbage containers
Sweep and mop floors, and assist cooks and kitchen staff with general duties
Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and storage areas; unpack and store supplies appropriately
Keep records of food quantities used
Receive and process customer payments for food purchases
