Pay: $34.50 per hour, with overtime and benefits
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Arcata Pizzeria is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to help us run our restaurant smoothly! If you’ve got experience managing a team and love working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen and food service staff
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
- Maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage
- Assist in ordering inventory and supplies based on consumption and forecast
- Train new staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation
- Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to team members
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support management in daily operations and improvements
Required Skills:
- Minimum education of High School
- Experience of least 1-7 months in a related role
- Fluent in English
