Business Location – 6160 127 Street, Surrey, BC, V3X3M6
Pay rate – $28.00/hour, 40 hours per week
Location of work – All over lower Mainland
Education required – High school
Experience required – 3 to 4 years of experience in the same field.
Language – Basic English
Employment terms – Full time, Permanent
Anticipation date – As soon as possible
Duties to be performed at job:
Measuring, Cutting and Fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
Interpreting blueprints and performing specific procedures for installation.
Protecting exterior corners by cutting and installing metal corner beads.
Using compound to fill holes, joints and cracks with the help of broad knife and trowel.
Remove and smooth out the excess compound.
Taping over joints using tapping machine and embed tape in compound.
Fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing panels to form coffered ceilings.
Environment at workplace – noisy and dusty, hot and cold temperatures.
Physical capabilities required at work – bending, crouching and kneeling, physically demanding, large workload.
