We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our thriving team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence while supporting both field staff and internal departments. our responsibilities will include leading and optimizing scheduling operations across our Canadian locations, guiding a high-performing team, collaborating with internal departments, and driving improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall service delivery.

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Supervise and coordinate the Scheduling & Control Center team across all operational regions
  • Develop, assign, and modify employee work schedules based on operational needs
  • Authorize overtime, shift changes, leaves of absence, and use of company resources
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Monitor scheduling system TrackTik for accuracy, efficiency, and anomalies
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance coaching to team members
  • Handle scheduling-related inquiries and resolve conflicts in collaboration with internal departments
  • Prepare performance reports and track adherence to scheduling protocols
  • Participate in employee interviews, evaluations, and disciplinary meetings as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site-specific contracts and staffing requirements
  • Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement scheduling strategies that improve operational efficiency
  • Support change management initiatives and continuous process improvement
  • Foster a team culture focused on accuracy, customer service, and accountability
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and responsive communication regarding scheduling matters

 

Education, Skills and Competencies Required

Education/Experience: Minimum 3 year of experience in operations or workforce co-ordination or completion of college or other program in business administration or management.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team effectively

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new software.

Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of people, including staff, management, and external partners.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Discretion: Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changes in workload and tasks.

Punctuality and Reliability: Must be dependable, timely, and reliable, especially in responding to urgent security needs.

Ethical: Strong ethical standards and integrity are essential in a security-related environment.
