Job Description:
The Tan family is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy Child Care Provider to care for their children in a warm, supportive home environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and capable of supporting the family’s daily routines and ensuring the children’s safety and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide attentive and nurturing care for children throughout the day
2. Ensure the children's emotional and physical well-being is prioritized
3. Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding the children as needed
4. Help with homework and support learning activities
5. Supervise the children’s activities and behavior both inside and outside the home
6. Lead games, crafts, and recreational outings tailored to the children’s age and interests
7. Accompany children to school, appointments, or extracurricular activities
8. Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks daily, cook family meals as required
9. Reinforce family-approved methods of discipline and promote positive behavior
10. Instruct and encourage good hygiene practices and social manners
11. Maintain a clean and organized household environment
12. Take full responsibility for the home during the parents’ absence
13. Shop for groceries and household necessities when needed
14. Launder, press, and maintain children’s clothing, bed linens, and other household fabrics in clean and orderly condition.
15. Track daily routines, behavior patterns, and any health concerns or observations related to the children.
16. Carry out routine cleaning and tidying tasks in areas used by the children, including their bedrooms, playrooms, and common spaces.
Job Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent experience
2. Previous proved child care or related experience is preferred
3. Criminal record check required
4. Able to commit to a long-term role with the family, and ability to work overtime when needed
5. Physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
6. Fast-paced environment that may involve handling multiple responsibilities at once
7. Takes initiative and can work independently without constant supervision
8. Demonstrates honesty and integrity in all tasks and communication
