Barcelos Restaurant
of #119 2120 Dollarton Highway North Vancouver, V7H 0B5
requires 2 full time food processing labourers
Salary range $19.00 -$22.00 p/h.
Must speak English.
The successful applicant will be required to
- Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout restaurant and kitchen and walk in freezer manually
- Measure, remove fat and bones and dump ingredients into disposable bins
- Prepare and unload food, sauces and associated products onto trays prior to processing
- Form flattened boxes into readily usable container
- Manually pack goods into bags, boxes or other containers
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- Assist oven operators and other staff in performing their duties
Applicants:
- should have ideally (but not critically have some experience working with food and safe handling of food
- As we are open 7 days a week and usually from 10 am to 9 pm, must be prepared to work weekends and evenings
