 Salary: $22 hourly / 35 hours per Week
 Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
 Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Help plan the menu and figure out how much food is needed
- Cook full meals and individual dishes, focusing on authentic Hakka flavors
- Make special meals for customers with food allergies or dietary needs
- Prepare food for patients or special orders as per a dietitian or chef's instructions
- Keep the kitchen clean and check that everything is up to safety standards
- Train new staff on cooking, food handling, and cleanliness
- Order food, kitchen tools, and other supplies as needed
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff and helpers during shifts
- Keep track of food stock and supplies and make sure nothing runs out
- Clean cooking equipment, counters, and work areas regularly
- Help with hiring kitchen staff when needed
- Organize and prepare food for buffets, parties, or catering events
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure everything runs smoothly
Eligibility Requirements:
- Proven experience of 7 months to 1 year as a cook, preferably in Asian or Hakka cuisine
- Completion of secondary school
- Knowledge of traditional Hakka cooking methods, ingredients, and flavors
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to prepare meals quickly and accurately in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow recipes and handle special dietary requests
- Good English communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
