We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Restaurant Assistant Manager to support our daily operations and uphold high standards of service, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, supervising staff, and ensuring optimal guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning and executing strategies to attract and retain guests and increase customer loyalty
Track progress toward weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets, including sales, labor, and food cost goals
Monitor inventory levels, place food and supply orders, and ensure proper stock rotation and storage procedures
Evaluate employee performance, identify training needs, and assist in recruitment, onboarding, and continuous staff development
Supervise, support, and motivate front-line and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional customer service
Recommend and implement training programs focused on upselling, service efficiency, and food safety
Engage with guests to understand their dining preferences and ensure their satisfaction
Analyze customer feedback and dining trends to improve menu offerings and service delivery
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction and brand reputation
Prepare operational reports and interpret restaurant data, including revenue trends, expenses, and market competition
Conduct routine audits to ensure cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with brand standards
Maintain accurate temperature logs and ensure health and safety records are up to date per franchise and regulatory requirements
Ensure the restaurant is always inspection-ready for unannounced third-party and health department visits
Enforce adherence to company policies, health codes, and franchise guidelines by all employees
Act as an ambassador of the restaurant, modeling exemplary behavior and fostering a positive team culture
