Job Description :
- The Repair and Overhaul Technician is responsible for completing the initial assessment, paperwork of incoming components and expediting the completion of repair and overhaul work while ensuring on time, on cost, and on quality.
- Responsible for Repair / rebuild components for our customers in a timely and economical manner
- Responsible for Repair / rebuild of all engine and other components including but not limited to Transmission, Cylinder Heads, Turbo chargers and Alternator
- Prepare service reports and service documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors, in support of Jroberts Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Ensure all requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
- Follow ISO procedures
Job Qualifications :
- Completion of an accredited Trade school program or possessing a minimum of 3 years applicable experience in a comparable industrial environment with direct responsibility for the repair/reconditioning of diesel engine and sub-components
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Self-motivated and energetic a team player who can work effectively
- Able to take the initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Familiar and experienced in the use of various hand tools
Physical Requirements:
The Repair and Overhaul Technician's job responsibilities and tasks are all performed indoors. due to the nature of this position, they may be exposed to awkward body positions and emotional stress due to job complexity at times. for the most part of the day, the incumbent in this position will experience twisting/bending of the back, knees, elbows, and wrists with frequent standing.
