About the Role

As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. Your leadership will help shape the dining experience and drive our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices in line with the restaurant budget.
• Maintain the highest possible standards of customer service, both personally and through other members of the Subway
• staff.
• Communicates pertinent information, problems and opportunities to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Develop budgets to determine costs for food, ingredients, and supplies.
• Ensure that all food/drinks are being sold at company prescribed retail prices.
• Monitor and assess staff performance, providing guidance and support.
• Plan and organize daily operations to meet customer needs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, setting work schedules to optimize productivity.
• Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews to foster staff development.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other necessary supplies.
• Participate in marketing plans and their implementation: Implement promotions and other programs as developed by the marketing or other department.
• Manage events to enhance customer engagement.

Work Environment
This position is set in a rural area and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. You will be supervising a team of 3-4 people, ensuring that everyone is aligned with our goals and standards.

Qualifications
Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role.
