Job Title: Insulator

Salary: $35.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Morning, Day shifts
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Setting: On-site at physical location (no remote option)

Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, tapping, and other installation methods.
Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, mould, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.
Noisy, dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated conditions.
Confined spaces and outdoor work.
Bachelor’s degree.
1 year to less than 2 years of related experience.
English (required).
Punjabi and Urdu considered an asset.
Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
CPR Certificate.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
