We are Abbotsford based family looking for nanny who could take care of our children.

Job Description:

• Supervise and care for child at our residence Bathe, dress and feed him and carefully watch his activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals, plan rest periods, as instructed and train child in personal hygiene and social development.
• Take care of the emotional well-being of child.
• May perform light housekeeping duties.
• Take child for walk and to appointments.
• Inform parents if any health issue arises with the child.

Wage:

$19 per hour in accordance with labor/employment standards, after 40 hours of work exceeds per week, employer shall pay 1.5 per hour as overtime pay.

Education:

Completion of secondary school may be required.

Skills:

• Interact well with the child and plan activities that can engage the child according to age.
• Able to work without being supervised. Positive attitude towards work. Flexible in every aspect towards child.
• Child-care or household management experience may be required.
• Child-care provider may require completion of a training program in child care or any related field.

Abilities:

Reading text, good communication, problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing.

Language:

Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Work Experience/s & Qualification:

6 months to 1 year of work experience as a caregiver or in related field or occupation within the last three years. OR 6 months of in-class training for Caregiver Course.

Job Type:

Regular, full-time, permanent - maximum of 24 months covers 30/week, 2 days off per week, work hours and days may vary depending on the Employer's work schedule.

Terms of Employment:

Full-time, minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week, hours will be flexible depending on the employer need of care for the child, 2 Days off that will vary depending on the employers. Work schedule is flexible on the hours of

duty. Pays BC statutory holidays and Vacation.
