  • Work Setting: On-site only (no remote option)

  • Reports to: Store Owner

  • Direct Reports: 20+ staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate restaurant operations including food preparation, service quality, health and safety compliance, and brand standards

  • Monitor sales and revenues to manage labour costs and achieve performance targets

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff (20+ team members)

  • Develop and implement staff work schedules to maintain adequate coverage

  • Oversee and maintain food and supply inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring cost efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health and safety standards

  • Manage customer relations, address complaints, and ensure excellent service delivery

  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and mentoring to staff

  • Handle cash control, deposits, and reporting requirements

  • Support execution of catering, bulk orders, and community partnerships


Requirements

  • Education: Secondary school completion required; college diploma in hospitality/management preferred

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry

  • Certification: Food Handler’s Certification is an asset

  • Skills: Dependable, organized, flexible, reliable, ability to multitask, team leadership
