Barbara Caffe is seeking an experienced and motivatef Restaurant and Food Service Manager to lead our front and back of house operations. This position requires a hand on professional who is passionate about food service, team leadership and delivering a superior guest experience in a fast paced environment.
Ensuire smooth execution of the restaurants operational activities.
establish and implement policies, procedurs and service standards to ensure concistency and quality.
Manage staff development through training supervision performance monitoring and coaching.
create employee schedules and manage staffing levels based on business needs
managa inventory and ordering processes as well as control food and labor costs
responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and for maintaining a clean safe and well organized work environment
respond to and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
coordinate and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, and other necessary items
oversee arrangements for catering services, private events and receptions held on site.
Qualifications
completion of a college or other program realted to hospitality or food and beverage service management is considered an asset
proven experience in a restaurant or food service management role
completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food service management
strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
knowledge of food safety regulations and workplace health standards
ability to handle high pressure situations and resolve conflicts efficiently
excellent communication and problem solving abilities
ability to work flexible hours, including evenings weekends and holidays
