Gill family is looking for a hardworking, patient, attentive, trustworthy caregiver for their elderly parent. The care will be taken at their home situated in Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5Z6. .
Job title: Elderly Caregiver
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40hr/week)

Wage: C$24.00/hr.
Language Requirement: English.
Qualification: Senior Secondary (High) School Certificate.
Experience: Not mandatory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a secure and wellness focused home environment.
- Administer medication according to the doctor’s prescription.
- Support the client in performing prescribe exercise regularly
- Take full responsibility for household in absence of the householder and stay with the elderly when someone is not at home.
- Ensure elderly are safely taken to and from scheduled appointments.
- Take care of laundry, assist with cleanliness, and endure elderly person’s bed is properly prepared.
- Tend to their emotional well-being.
- Supervise and take care of elderly.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals as prescribe by doctor.
- Assist in personal care services, such as oral hygiene and grooming
- Perform hygiene maintenance activities such as cleaning up after meals and laundry of soiled bedding and clothing.
