Responsibilities
Tasks
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of administrative services.
- Coordinate and manage functions such as records management, human resources, purchasing, finance, and office support activities.
- Supervise and guide team members, providing coaching and assistance to help them meet departmental objectives.
- Ensure the organization’s governance standards and regulatory requirements are consistently upheld across all administrative activities.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Participate in the recruitment process by screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding and staff training programs.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and ensure operational consistency.
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to maintain effective business relationships and resolve operational issues.
- Track performance metrics, evaluate service quality, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and organizational standards.
- Support strategic initiatives and corporate projects by coordinating resources and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Represent the department in meetings and contribute to company-wide administrative planning and policy development.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
