Job Description:
E-Net Solutions Inc. is looking for motivated and dependable Solar Panel Installers to join our renewable energy division on Vancouver Island. The successful candidates will be based in Nanaimo or Victoria and will travel across the Island to perform residential and commercial solar photovoltaic installations, ensuring top-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Main Duties:
- Assemble, install, and secure solar panels and support structures on rooftops or ground mounts
- Connect electrical components, wiring, and inverters according to specifications
- Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Ensure installations meet local codes and safety standards
- Maintain organized, safe, and clean work environments
- Coordinate with supervisors, electricians, and team members for efficient project delivery
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in solar or electrical installation.
- Must be physically capable of working at heights and lifting heavy materials
- Valid BC driver’s licence preferred
- WHMIS and Fall Protection certifications are assets
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding – includes bending, climbing, lifting, and working outdoors
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Travel to job sites across Vancouver Island is required
