JOB POSTING – Mold Technician / Mold Adjuster (NOC 94212)

Wage: $36.50 per hour, plus bonuses
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

ABOUT THE COMPANY

FSM Canada Company Ltd. specializes in the design, manufacture, and assembly of automated production equipment, tooling, and molds for the automotive industry. Our London plant supports major OEM programs and delivers advanced EPDM/TPV/plastic injection mold solutions.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, install, and adjust molds for EPDM/TPV/plastic injection processes
• Set up molds according to technical specifications and production requirements
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of molds prior to delivery
• Inspect molds and components for accuracy, defects, and readiness
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and mold specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments and ensure proper mold alignment
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality and efficiency
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required PPE
• Maintain detailed records of mold adjustments, tests, and inspections

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• College diploma or technical training in Mechanical Technology, Engineering, Tooling, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mold setup, adjustment, or tooling operations
• Experience with industrial equipment, mold alignment, troubleshooting, and mechanical components
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring tools
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment

Language

• At least an intermediate level of English proficiency
  
  

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Hourly wage: $36.50
• Bonuses: up to 5% of the annual salary, based on performance
