Job Duties:
- Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications.
- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints.
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
- Install and adjust windows, doors, stairways, mouldings, trims, and associated hardware.
- Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
- Match materials for color, grain, and texture, giving attention to knots and other features of the wood.
- Able to measure total area specifications to determine quantities of materials required
- Provide cost estimates to clients.
- Clean the site and tools properly after the job is finished.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Follow all safety measures and maintain a safe work environment.
