Education                      :     College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

 

Experience:        

Experience, certifications and education in computer science, computer programming or network administration is an asset.

Essential Skills:

·         Adept with technology.

·         Familiarity with Windows 10, Office 365, Windows Server, Ms. Office.

·         Basic knowledge of web development would be useful.

·         Ability to manage people and situations gracefully.

Job Duties

Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions and keep manuals up to date.

Provide new employee training for internal software and hardware, and to all users in response to identified difficulties.

Provide desktop and network support services for local and remote employees of varying skill levels with technology (VPN, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat).

Provide hardware and software support for local IT Operations, including installing and maintaining server hardware and installing and maintaining server software (Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365).

Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.

Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced.

Participate in the redesign of applications, IT Infrastructure and other software.

Train new user support technicians.
