Vacancy: Night Clerk Supervisor – Hotel (NOC 6316)

Employer: Guildford Hotel Ltd DBA Four Points by Sheraton Surrey

Job Location: 10410 158 Street, Surrey, BC, V4N 5C2

Positions available: 1

Salary: $22.50 Per hour

Hours: 40 per week

Language: English

Terms of employment: Full Time/Permanent

Education: High School (Grade 12)

Skills: Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program, or a college program in front desk operations or hotel management is an asset.

Experience: 2 years

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

 Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of hotel accommodation services clerks, reservation clerks and other travel and accommodations workers

• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by Guildford Hotel Ltd DBA Four Points by Sheraton Surrey
