JOB DUTIES

Human Resources Assistant

• Process, verify and register documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations and classifications
• Respond to telephone and written enquiries from staff and the general public regarding personnel matters
• Assist company director to set-up employees KPIs
• Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies, assist in screening and rating of job applicants, and conduct reference checks
• Assist with mid-term and annual performance review of employees
• Administer and score employment tests, such as keyboarding and proofreading tests
• Arrange for in-house and external training activities.
• Setting appointments and arranging meetings

Compensation & Hours:

Salary: $22.00 CAD Per Hour

Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Overtime Rate: $33.00 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
