Job description:

Food and Beverage Server (NOC: 6513)

Wage: $15.00/Hr for 40 hours/week

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Anticipated start date: ASAP

Job Brief:

Patna Sweets & Chat restaurant is an authentic Indian restaurant looking for food & beverage server responsible for providing excellent customer service. In addition to serving food and drinks, food and beverage servers perform tasks, that include setting up tables, removing used dishes and preparing simple dishes.

Job Duties:

• Greet clients and must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and offer timely assistance to customers
• Present menus, answering questions and offering suggestions and eventually take down their chosen orders
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
• Responsible for serving food and maintain an organized record of order to which he or she can refer
• Must clean and prepare tables of all plates, cups, and flatware after customer leaves
• Receive Bills in a timely manner and that all orders are properly listed and priced
• Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware

Requirements:

• Language: Basic English is a requirement
• Education: Completion of High School is required
• Experience: Will Train

Core skills:

• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Provide excellent customer service
• Have some sales ability
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Obtain appropriate food and beverage licenses
• Must be attentive and detail-oriented
