Construction helper (NOC- 7611)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: $20.00/hour for 40 hours/week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Location: Various location across lower mainland and Vancouver

Amar Framing Ltd. is a busy finishing and wood working contracting company operating within lower mainland. We are eagerly looking for 4construction helpers to have in our team. As construction helper, the candidate must perform the following job duties.

Job Duties:

• Set up work stations and equipment to be used at a job site
• Safely load and unload and move construction materials such as lumber, tools and other equipment at a worksite
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assemble and break down barricades, temporary structures and scaffolding
• Assist tradesmen with framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Level earth to fine grade specifications to prepare for construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Remove all rubble and other debris, pack up tools, put away any unused materials from active worksites
• Maintain safe and secure environment at construction sites while following safety regulations

Requirements:

• Education: None

• Experience:No Experience required but any experience in construction industry will be considered an   asset

• Language: Basic English is a requirement

Other Skills:

Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift upto 50lbs

Willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions

Benefits:

4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period. Transportation to and from the job location is provided at free of cost in company vehicle.
